By day, James Derek Dwyer works as a media specialist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. By night, he DJ’s Plastique at the Midway Cafe in Jamaica Plain. Oh, and he is indie filmmaker Todd Verow’s writing and producing partner at Bangor Films. James also happens to be a friend of mine, and when we bumped into each other on the Southwest Corridor recently I wasn’t letting him get away without a photo.
James rides an REI Big Buzz in the city, and a Specialized HardRock mountain bike when visiting back home in Cape Cod. His favorite thing about cycling in Boston is it’s efficiency: “I love how quickly I can get around the city on my bike, and since I have decided to never own a car, it’s perfect transportation for me. I’ve never even gotten a driver’s license”

Ride on, James!
